You do NOT have to be a member to volunteer. We encourage everyone in the community to come out and participate in meeting and activities.

We are a tier A club with Kiwanis international and our club dues are $34 per person.

Reassure people that Kiwanis is not a secret society. No secret handshakes, no eligibility bars other than being a decent person who wants to help kids and the community.

Dues payments go directly to Kiwanis International to support its mission. For example, Kiwanis International helped found institutions like the Doernbecher Children's Cancer Hospital, and research fellowships that have led to therapies that have saved countless lives.

It funds them through payments paid to the club through individuals' volunteer work.

No; the most important contribution any member can make is through volunteering on behalf of the club, for as many or as few hours that a member is comfortable in contributing.

Not at all! In fact, in many endeavors we team up with the Lyons Club, the Rotary Club, and the Optimists' Club.
